·         Remove heads seacock and fill - removed and filled
·         Remove log and fill - removed and filled, faired and primed
·         Anti-foul - this will be Seajet Shogun - Done
Found a crack in the skeg. It appears that the steel section has rusted and blown out the fibre glass. After trying to insert a stainless section down the inside of the old section I have abandoned this approach and I am reinforcing the skeg with fibre glass after re-attaching the old fibre glass to the steel section with mastic.  The repair is OK, I couldn't extract the builders foam from the steel section so I rammed a stainless section up from below. The fibre glass and epoxy seemed solid so I filled and faired it before priming. The rudder went on without a hitch and the rudder tube has fresh grease and the tiller is back on.
